Welcome to Pure Essentials,

A little about me: I’m a neurospicy, full‑time law student, single parent, certified Holistic Nutrition Practitioner, and community herbalist with a deep love for plant medicine and everyday magic. Life is a blend of lecture notes, lunchboxes, and lavender, so I create potions that are as practical and grounding as they are enchanting.

I took over Pure Essentials from my dear friend in 2023 and feel so blessed that so many of you trusted me and remain regular clients. As the owner and maker of this tiny Edmonton‑based business, I handcraft small‑batch wellness and beauty potions infused with care, intention, and botanicals. I’m still lovingly producing many of my friend's classic recipes, while slowly filling the apothecary with my own potions, serums, and balms. I intuitively formulate and test each new creation, source high‑vibration herbs, oils, and raw materials, pour and blend every batch by hand, and safeguard the quality and energetic integrity of each product…even if my neurospicy brain occasionally forgets where I put the spoon I’m literally holding.

Time is a strange, bendy concept for me, and sometimes time blindness, in addition to all the hats I wear, means I lose track of days and suddenly find myself doing label design at midnight with a cup of herbal tea that went cold an hour ago. This is one of the reasons I don’t offer “express shipping” options. Although the inventory on my website shows items as “on hand,” many of my products aren’t actually sitting in stock on a shelf; I custom‑craft small batches to order, which helps keep everything as fresh and potent as possible. My brain loves hyperfocus, so one moment I’m deep‑diving into botanical research “for ten minutes,” and the next it’s three hours later, and I’ve shaped an idea for an entirely new potion line to create and half‑reorganized my apothecary. So, I thank you in advance for your patience during your ordering experience.

My focus is on crafting clean, beautiful products that support everyday well‑being, attuned to a wide range of needs—physical, emotional, and skin‑related. I guide the entire journey, from product alchemy and branding to our online apothecary and customer care, and I’m deeply devoted to educating others about plant allies, natural ingredients, and holistic, simple, ritual‑based self‑care that actually fits into real lives and routines.
