Vetiver is a base note with a strong aroma, an earthy, woody scent characteristic of oils derived from roots, and a rich note that is popular in products designed for men.

Blends well with: Cedarwood, Chamomile, Frankincense, Ginger, Jasmine, Juniper, Lavender, Lemongrass, Patchouli, Rose, Sandalwood, Spikenard, Vanilla, and Ylang-ylang.

Vetiver essential oil is a very grounding and calming oil that may help to promote sleep, relieve restlessness, and is believed to help those suffering from anxiety, depression, and ADHD.  Vetiver essential oil also relieves inflammation, helping with arthritis, muscle pain, joint stiffness, and tendonitis. It is an excellent oil to help reduce the appearance of scarring and wrinkles. Vetiver can also help to stimulate circulation. Avoid high concentrations during pregnancy.

Note: This oil can be very thick. If so, we recommend placing the bottle in a very hot water bath and changing it frequently until it returns to its liquid state, then gently agitating it before use.

Cautions: Dilute before use. It may cause skin irritation in some individuals, so a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with the eyes should be avoided.
